Traditional Matcha Directions: Sift 1 teaspoon (2 g) of matcha into a matcha bowl or wide cup to help break up any clumps. Add 4 oz (120 ml) of water heated to 175°F. Using an a bamboo or electric whisk, whisk for 15-20 seconds until the matcha is smooth and a fine layer of foam forms. Enjoy immediately. Matcha Latte Directions Matcha Latte Directions: Sift 1 teaspoon (4 g) of matcha into a bowl or wide cup. Add 2 oz (60 ml) of water heated to 175°F and whisk until smooth and lump-free. Heat or steam 7-10 oz (200-300 ml) of your preferred milk to about 150°F. Combine the prepared matcha and warm milk, stir, and sweeten with honey or simple syrup to taste if desired. For a stronger matcha flavor, use up to 6 g of matcha. Iced Matcha Directions: Add 1 teaspoon (4 g) of matcha and 4 oz (120 ml) of cold water to a mason jar or shaker with a tight-fitting lid. Shake vigorously for 15-20 seconds, until the matcha is fully blended and slightly foamy. Fill a tall glass with approximately 4 oz (120 g) of ice and pour the matcha mixture over the ice. Sweeten with honey or simple syrup to taste if desired.
